Division of Student Affairs has launched a redesigned website aimed to interest prospective students in choosing Cal Poly Pomona as one of their top universities in their college choice process. The website features video tours and includes specific information about academics, campus life, admissions and financial resources. The site is targeted to prospective freshman, transfer, graduate, international, veteran and credential students. A section for parents and family links to useful resources and answers to frequently asked questions.
The website is linked from the university home page, from the “future students” link. It also has a direct and easy-to-remember URL: www.cpp4me.com.
“The inspiration for the site came from our current students who shared their perspectives throughout the project in terms of content and design,” says Kathy Street, associate vice president for enrollment services. “We hope the site will accurately reflect the excitement and value of a Cal Poly Pomona education to students who are a good match for the university.”
The website redesign project was a collaborative effort involving student affairs, I&IT Web Development and Astone, a marketing consultant.
The campus community is encouraged to send feedback to expand and improve the site. Email kastreet@cpp.edu with questions, comments and suggestions.
