Interested in electronics, two-way digital, voice or video communications? Want to learn how to communicate world-wide without using the internet, using good old-fashioned radio waves? Want to learn how even amateurs can bounce radio signals off of satellites to communicate with someone hundreds or thousands of miles away? All these and more are different aspects of amateur radio. Cal Poly Pomona’s Amateur Radio Club is seeking members with interests in these or related areas such as commercial broadcasting, telemetry and commercial land mobile radio. Contact club president Alex Gonzalez at alex_gonzalez14@yahoo.com or advisors Michael Guerin and Glen Shiery at mguerin@cpp.edu or grshiery@cpp.edu for more information.
