The California State University Board of Trustees decided at its Sept. 21 meeting to amend the campus master plan to allow construction of a student recreation center at Cal Poly Pomona. The university will soon join the roster of 14 CSU campuses that have a recreation center in operation or under construction.
Acting on a strong show of support from the university’s incoming freshman class, the Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) student government will move forward with plans to construct and operate a 119,000-square-foot recreation center.
