Join alumni and friends for a round of golf at the annual Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 27.
This year’s tournament will be held South Hills Country Club in West Covina and is hosted by general manager Arthur Barajas, ’92, hospitality management. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m., and the shotgun starts format at 8.
The tournament is the association’s premier event for raising money for student scholarships. Since its inception, the event has raised nearly $100,000. Last year the Alumni Scholars Program awarded 22 scholarships.
“This event is about building community, connecting with our alumni and supporting students,” says Melissa Riordan, executive director of advancement services, alumni & annual giving. “We’re so pleased this tournament has grown into an annual tradition, supported by alumni who are committed to helping outstanding students.”
