Fall Conference 2010 Schedule

Fall Conference 2010 begins on Monday, Sept. 20 with convocation and President Ortiz’s annual address. The three-day event includes workshops, college and division meetings, and BroncoFusion.

Convocation begins at 9 a.m. in the Ursa Major Suite of the Bronco Student Center, with the annual Service Awards following immediately.

Convocation and Service Awards will be streamed live at http://video.cpp.edu/FallConf and will also be available for on-demand viewing. Video of past fall conference events are also available on the site.

The schedule includes:

Monday, Sept. 20

  • 9 to 10 a.m. – Convocation (Ursa Major Suite, Ursa Minor overflow)
  • 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Service Awards (Ursa Major Suite) 
  • 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – University Master Plan (Ursa Major AB), hosted Facilities Planning, Design & Construction
  • 4 to 6 p.m. – President’s Reception (Manor House), a campus celebration of the $42 million Kellogg Foundation Gift hosted by President and Mrs. Ortiz

Tuesday, Sept. 21
College and Division Meetings

  • 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. – College of Science (Building 3, room 2137)
  • 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. – Division of Student Affairs (Ursa Major)
  • 9 to 10:30 a.m. – College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences (Music Recital Hall, Building 24)
  • 9 to 11 a.m. – College of Business Administration (Ursa Minor)
  • 9 to 11 a.m. – Division of Instructional and Information Technology (98-P2-7)
  • 9 a.m. to Noon – Collins College of Hospitality Management (Hilton Room, 79B-1235)
  • 9 a.m. to Noon – College of Education and Integrative Studies (CLA Building, eighth floor)
  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – College of Agriculture (AGRIscapes)
  • 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. – College of Engineering (University Library, room 1807)
  • 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – College of Environmental Design (ENV Gallery, Building 7)

Symposia

  • 1 to 2:30 p.m. – Academic Calendar Conversion (Ursa Major A), hosted by the Ad Hoc Committee on the Potential Academic Calendar Conversion of the Academic Senate
  • 2 to 3 p.m. – University Strategic Planning (Ursa Major B), hosted by USP Committee
  • 3 to 4 p.m. – WASC (Ursa Major A), hosted by the WASC Planning Committee
  • 4 to 5 p.m. – Graduation Initiative (Ursa Major B), hosted by the Graduation Initiative Committee

Wednesday, Sept. 22 – Bronco Fusion

  • 2 to 3:30 p.m. – University Library (University Library, room 4829) 
  • 2 to 4 p.m. – College of the Extended University (CTTI 220B, conference room A)
