CEIS Professor Contributes to Education Book

Richard Navarro, professor in the College of Education & Integrative Studies

Richard Navarro, a professor in the College of Education and Integrative Studies, has contributed to “Accomplished Teachers: Institutional Perspectives,” a book that challenges the education community to rethink teacher professional development and certification.

The book advocates a stronger linkage between National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and teacher preparation, program accreditation and state licensure.
