If you liked the Pumpkin Festival, you’re going to love the Strawberry Festival.
The Farm Store is hosting its annual Tractor & Car Show and Strawberry Festival on Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature specialty vehicles of nearly all shapes, styles and colors: customs, antiques, classics, muscle, street rods, motorcycles and more.
In addition, children will find plenty to keep them busy, including horse and tractor rides, a petting zoo and face painting. And those who want to explore their inner farmer can fill a basket or two of fresh strawberries at the patch.
Think you’ve crafted the perfect guacamole? Put your belief to the test by bringing in your recipe and a sample of your work by 11:30 a.m. Judging will take place at noon and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
And with Mother’s Day around the corner, the Farm Store makes shopping easy. It offers an array of gift baskets, confections, wines and, yes, flowers, among other treats.
“The whole family will enjoy this event,” says Andrea Struve, who is helping to coordinate the event. “There’s something for everyone.”
