Hybrid Car Team Shows off at Long Beach Grand Prix

The Formula Hybrid SAE team

The Formula Hybrid SAE team will be displaying its hybrid car at the Long Beach Grand Prix on April 16-18. Cal Poly Pomona students will be sharing their engineering skills and the process of building a formula hybrid race car – design, build, race and market. Team members will also talk about the hybrid SAE competition and Cal Poly Pomona.

Hundreds of companies and organizations will be exhibiting the latest in automotive, home, creation, travel and entertainment products and services at the Long Beach Convention Center for the Grand Prix’s Lifestyle Expo. The event will also include a Green Technology showcase, which will display hybrid, electric, hydrogen and bio-diesel-powered cars, as well as energy saving products.

For more information about the team, visit www.cpp.edu/~fhsae. To learn more about the Long Beach Grand Prix, visit www.gplb.com.
