‘Drop, Cover and Hold On’ for
Statewide Earthquake Exercise

Cal Poly Pomona will participate this month in California's second annual earthquake drill. The Great California ShakeOut, the largest drill in U.S. history, is will test the region's ability to withstand a catastrophic earthquake. At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, building marshals and floor captains will lead faculty, staff and students to "drop, cover and hold on" for about a minute. Participants should seek cover under a sturdy piece of furniture.
