Portions of Cal Poly Pomona have been officially placed in an oriental fruit fly quarantine zone by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The quarantine zone, which will last for seven months, extends from downtown Pomona to Temple Avenue.
