On Wednesday afternoon, the World Health Organization raised the swine flu to level 5, indicating widespread human-to-human transmission. A campus emergency task force is actively monitoring the situation and developing strategies to deal with this rapidly-evolving issue. There are no known cases of swine flu at Cal Poly Pomona, including its residence halls and auxiliary areas. However, we must be vigilant to prevent the spread of this virus.
