University Police are seeking information about a man arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of engaging in lewd conduct on campus. The man, who is not affiliated with Cal Poly Pomona, was seen in Parking Lot B allegedly taking photos of a student and acting in a lewd manner.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or any previous acts should contact University Police.
The suspect, Jason Ellis, is 34, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was wearing an orange and white striped shirt and blue jeans. According to police, Ellis is a registered sex offender and has addresses in Diamond Bar and Long Beach.
Ellis was released from jail and given a citation to appear in court. He has been warned to keep away from campus. Police should be called immediately if he is seen at Cal Poly Pomona.
