CIS Hosts Panel on Women in IT


The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department is hosting a panel discussion with successful women in the information technology field. They will share their perspectives on career opportunities in IT and how to achieve a work-life balance. Alumna Sandra Senft, '95, will moderate the discussion. Panelists include: Lulu Fou, '90, an executive director at Accenture; Mimi Thai-Chen, Medicare IT director at Kaiser Permanente; Jan Dorr, '95, an IT Department manager at Walt Disney; and Isabelle Theisen, '92, chief security officer at First Advantage Corp. The event is on May 2 from 3 to 4:30 in the BSC's England Evans Room. Alumni and current students of all academic disciplines as well as the general public are encouraged to attend the free event.
