The College of Engineering is hosting an Open House on Saturday, Feb. 28, for potential students and their families to learn more about engineering education at Cal Poly Pomona. The one-day event includes campus tours; Q&A with representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid and Housing; presentations by individual departments; and exploring student activities and labs.

Each year, about 2,000 people attend the Open House event to get a first-hand look at the college's academics and facilities. Faculty, current students and alumni will be available to answer questions. Visitors have the unique opportunity to tour the Biomedical Lab, GeoSpatial Information Systems Lab, Mechatronic Systems Lab and more.

“What makes the Engineering Open House special is that for one day, we open our doors to laboratories and academic areas, which are typically not available to the public,” says College of Engineering Dean Edward Hohmann.

The check-in and welcome begin at 8 a.m. in the Campus Center Marketplace. For more information about the Open House, visit the College of Engineering website.
