A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the Bronco Student Center for Mechanical Engineering Professor Edward M. Gates, who died last month. Gates, 58, taught at Cal Poly Pomona for the past 20 years and was killed in a small plane crash in San Diego County.
