Cal Poly Pomona will host its annual Engineering and Hi-Tech Job Fair on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kellogg Gym.

The job fair is not limited to those seeking careers in technical fields. Job seekers interested in other fields are also invited to meet with research companies and to network with recruiters, who will be on hand to answer questions and collect resumes.

Companies with openings for full-time, part-time and internship positions include: Boston Scientific, California State Public Utilities Commission, DIRECTV, Fluor Corporation, Kaiser Permanente Information Technology, Kiewit Pacific Company, Lockheed Martin, City of Los Angeles, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Sony PlayStation, Southern California Gas Company, the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center and Verizon.

Jobseekers are encouraged to dress to impress, bring plenty of resumes and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

The day before the job fair on Jan. 21, the Career Center will host a Resumaniac event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Corporate recruiters and career counselors will critique resumes and cover letters. No appointment is necessary. Participants must bring a hard copy of their resume and cover letter.
