With the Thanksgiving holiday less than three weeks away, it's time to start talking turkey. Los Olivos and the Farm Store are offering specials for Thanksgiving dinners.
Los Olivos is taking pre-orders for fully-cooked Thanksgiving feasts through Nov. 24. The turkey dinner is $49.95 and comes with a turkey and all the sides. Plus, save $2.95 when you pay with your Bronco Access card. The dinner includes:
- 1 fully-cooked turkey (about 12 pounds)
- 1 quart of home-style stuffing
- 1 quart mashed potatoes
- 1 quart candied sweet potatoes
- 1 quart fresh turkey giblet gravy
- 1 pint fresh cranberry sauce
- Dozen dinner rolls
- Your choice of apple or pumpkin pie
Additional side dishes, turkeys and desserts are available for an extra cost. Reserve your turkey by Nov. 24. Orders can be picked up Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (909) 869-4268.
The Farm Store is selling Shelton's turkeys that are free range, free of antibiotics and free of animal protein. Two types of turkeys are available, and a $25 deposit is required.
The organic, frozen turkeys are $3.79/lb and range from 10 to 16 pounds. The fresh, non-frozen turkeys are $3.39/lb and range from 8 to 30 pounds.
