Classes will be in session at Cal Poly Pomona on Monday, Nov. 17. As of Sunday night, the Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is predicting moderate air quality through the greater Pomona Valley. However, university staff will closely monitor air quality and local traffic conditions. Outdoor courses and activities should be modified as needed.
All major freeways, including SR 57, are expected to be open by Sunday night. Faculty, staff and students traveling from areas impacted by the fires should exercise caution and allow for additional time when traveling to and from campus.
