The Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association Board of Directors is pleased to present the association's annual golf tournament on Friday, Oct. 3, at Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton.
The tournament is the association's premier event for raising money for student scholarships. Last year's event raised $28,000, according to Melissa Riordan, director of Alumni Affairs.
“We were so pleased to have the opportunity to recognize 22 outstanding students last year through the Alumni Scholars Program,” she said. “Once again, we are committing all proceeds from the tournament to student scholarships.”
Coyote Hills Golf Course was designed by Cal Poly Pomona alumnus Cal Olson and legendary golfer Payne Stewart. The course has been recognized by ESPN/Zagat as one of America's top golf courses.
The Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association Golf Tournament tee time is at 8 a.m. on Oct. 3. For information, contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at (909) 869-2963 or visit https://e-advancement.cpp.edu/alumni/events/golf/.
