President Michael Ortiz has released a Spring 2008 video message to update the community on important issues facing Cal Poly Pomona this summer.
The eight-minute message highlights several key topics, including:
- The 4/10 summer work schedule
- Vision and Identity Initiative
- The CSU budget for 2008-09
- Grand opening of University Library
Ortiz recognized several individuals who have played an integral role in the university. They include: Dr. Barbara Way, dean of the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences; Herm Lujan, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs; Gary Hamilton, interim dean of the College of the Extended University; Lynn Turner, interim dean of the College of Business Administration; and Les Young, interim dean of the College of Agriculture.
The video message also includes a slideshow of graduation photos created by university photographer Tom Zasadzindski.
