More students than ever are clamoring to live on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, with waiting lists for university housing topping 500 students. To meet rising demand for campus residences, the university will soon embark on an extensive $76 million project to expand its award-winning Residential Suites and create a new student life quad where students can gather. The start of construction for Phase II of the Residential Suites and a new era in campus housing will be marked with a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, May 28, at 1 p.m.
