For the 11th year, Cal Poly Pomona's National Model United Nations (NMUN) team nabbed an award at the annual NMUN conference held April 21-26 in New York City. This year's team took home the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest honor presented by the national conference. Additionally, the students won the university's sixth Outstanding Position Paper Award
