Philanthropy can be fun. The university's Greek Week raised more than $9,000 for philanthropic organizations through a variety of events including Lip Sync, Food Fair and Penny Wars. All proceeds from the events went to the Cal Poly Pomona Dream Scholarship, the Christina Burmeister Memorial Scholarship and the United Friends of the Children in Los Angeles.
