CSU Trustees Approve Fee Increase

In response to the state's budget crisis, the California State University's Board of Trustees voted Wednesday, May 15 to approve a 10% fee increase. Beginning fall 2008, fees for the full academic year will increase by $276 ($92 per quarter) for undergraduate students, $324 ($108 per quarter) for teacher credential students and $342 ($114 per quarter) for graduate students. The CSU will set aside one-third of the revenue from the fee increase to augment financial aid to cover the fee increase for financially needy students.
