Cal Poly Pomona successfully tested its Safety Alert System on Friday, May 2, at 10 a.m. Faculty, staff and students received brief messages on the phones, e-mail addresses and communication devices they provided in BroncoDirect. The university tested the new Safety Alert System to ensure it is securely in place as well as to familiarize the campus community with this important emergency communication tool.
