Faculty members planning to participate in the 2008 commencement ceremonies may now order their academic regalia. Orders may be placed with the Bronco Bookstore through April 18, to ensure delivery in time for the ceremonies held June 13 – 15.
After April 18, there is no guarantee that the correct attire will still be available, plus the rental price may increase due to additional shipping charges. Early ordering is especially critical for faculty who plan to attend one of the cultural ceremonies held in advance of the traditional ceremonies.
The following prices will be honored through April 18, for the complete cap, gown and hood regalia:
- Bachelor's – $45
- Master's – $49
- Doctoral – $52
Faculty may come into Bronco Bookstore to be measured for their orders. Walk-in customers may pay by cash, credit card or personal check with a Bronco ID card.
Doctoral faculty may also request a tam, rather than a mortar-board. If available, the cost for the complete set will be $65. Individual items (for example, a hood only) are also available to rent.
Rentals may be returned to the bookstore immediately following each ceremony or through the end of June. Staff members will be available in an on-site commencement shop inside the Campus Center Marketplace near Carl's Jr.
Faculty who have not ordered academic regalia from the bookstore previously will be asked their height, weight, cap size, degree earned, university attended and preference on doctoral hood colors.
