Come taste fine foods and pluck strawberries straight from the patch on Saturday, March 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Taste of the Farm Store.
The Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch will sample many items including cheeses, sparkling drinks, jams, salsas, dressings, marinades, fresh squeezed Cal Poly Pomona orange juice, dairy products, avocados and fruits. There will also be cooking demonstrations and the opportunity to pick fresh strawberries.
In-N-Out will be cooking up burgers for sale from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and a drawing for a Farm Store gift certificate will be held.
The Farm Store, which is conveniently located at AGRIscapes, features an enhanced line of products from the campus farm, orchards, nursery, and apiary with a store design including state-of-the-art cooling and storage equipment to keep products fresh and wholesome.
The tasting is held in conjunction with the College of Agriculture's annual open house.
