Kellogg/University Intersection Expanded To Enhance Safety
The intersection at Kellogg and University drives will be a four-way stop.

Roadwork in the area of University and Kellogg drives and Citrus Lane is expected to be complete Wednesday, Feb. 6. The roadwork expands the intersection of University and Kellogg drives from a three-way stop, into a four-way stop. The improvements are being made to enhance traffic safety in the area.

University Drive has been expanded east to connect with Eucalyptus Lane, which is the road that runs in front of the Arabian Horse Center.

Citrus Lane, which is the road leading to the Rose Float Lab, Interim Design Center, Building 49 and the complex of Facilities Planning & Management buildings, will no longer connect with Kellogg Drive. Motorists will be forced to use the new intersection to access that area by way of Eucalyptus Lane.

Safety improvements will also been made to East Campus Drive, which is the one-way road that hugs the northeastern border of campus. That road, which provides access to Interstate 10 onramps, will be reduced from two lanes to one near the South Campus Drive intersection.
