Gary Tole, director of the Cal Poly Pomona Brass Ensemble, plays trombone and leads the group Legends of Swing. The group’s first album One Kettle for Count has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album and several composing and arranging awards for composer/arranger Scott Whitefield.
