Staff and student members of Associated Students Inc.'s Gas Creative Group took home 13 awards from the Steal This Idea contest at the 2007 Association of College Unions International Regional Conference. The conference took place in Northridge on Nov. 17.
Entries from Cal Poly Pomona were up against those from several other universities including University of Southern California, UC San Diego, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State Los Angeles, Sacramento State, and Cal State Long Beach. Gas Creative Group was awarded in the following categories:

Gas Creative Group is a full-service marketing department that is primarily managed by Cal Poly Pomona students majoring in business administration, fine art and communications and serves ASI, the Bronco Student Center and the campus.
“Winning these 13 awards validates that Cal Poly Pomona students are talented and work hard to achieve success. We're proud Gas Creative Group can act as a learning lab for our students to put classroom theory to use and support the university community with its marketing services at the same time,” said Jeffery Cox, marketing coordinator for ASI.
The 2007 ACUI conference welcomed universities in Region 15, which includes California, Nevada, Hawaii, Australia and Guam. According to ACUI's Web site, it is an association that is dedicated to assisting members to make significant contributions to the total campus environment for learning and to the development of persons within the academic community.
