Time is running out to sign up for Cal Poly Pomona's inaugural Achieving Our Mission: Stories of Successful Learning on Feb. 19 & 20, at the Bronco Student Center.
This event aims to showcase the various ways people learn at the university. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate. Sign up to partake in the event by Jan. 14.
Participants can work individually or in groups. They are encouraged to develop poster presentations, multi-media displays or demonstrations on projects they have already completed or are in the process of completing.
This event bolsters a campus culture of inquiry, evidence and improvement – which are the core of learning centeredness. The showcase will demonstrate educational effectiveness and how Cal Poly Pomona aspires to achieve its mission and learning outcomes as a learning-centered university.
Cal Poly Pomona's mission is “to advance learning and knowledge by linking theory and practice in all disciplines and to prepare students for lifelong learning, leadership, and careers in a changing, multicultural world.”
