Event Planning Workshop For Student Clubs

Planning an event can be a stressful and hectic process. However, at the Get Connected Program and Event Planning Workshop on Oct. 12, student clubs and their advisors can get the latest tips to plan a successful event or program on campus.

Associated Students Inc. and the Office of Student Life & Cultural Centers invite all clubs at Cal Poly Pomona to take part in this helpful workshop. A panel of people who represent various campus resources will be there to offer useful tips.

The workshop gives students a chance to mingle with the various campus representatives while having the opportunity to win prizes in different raffles throughout the afternoon and a scrumptious, free lunch. Also, just for showing up, one lucky club or organization will win lunch for all their members in a special raffle.

In addition this Get Connected workshop also fulfills a OSL requirement to become chartered, so students should grab this opportunity. All advisors, club and organization leaders are encouraged to attend.
