Irma Ramirez, an assistant professor in the Architecture department, has been honored with the Citation for Distinguished Engaged Scholarship. The New England Resource Center for Higher Education granted Ramirez this honor for her extraordinary work with deeply impoverished communities in Tijuana, Mexico.
