Share The Ride During California Rideshare Week
A Rideshare Fair for employees will be Oct. 3 and a fair for students will be
Oct. 4.

In celebration of California Rideshare Week, the Parking & Transportation Services' Rideshare Office and the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation will host a Rideshare Information Fair for faculty, staff and Foundation employees on Oct. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., near the Rose Garden.

Rideshare Week is Oct. 1 through Oct. 5.

Vendors such as Metro, Foothill Transit, Inland Empire Commute Services and other transportation-related companies will be on hand at the fair to assist employees with alternative commute options to come to the campus.

All employees attending the fair will receive a special gift and a free food coupon worth $7 that can be redeemed at various food venues on campus. They will also be entered into a drawing for prizes donated by local businesses.  In addition, when faculty, staff and Foundation employees pledge to share the ride during California Rideshare Week, they will have a chance to win prizes from Metro and other sponsors. Pledge forms will be available at the fair.

On Thursday, Oct. 4, the Rideshare Office will also host a fair for students in the University Quad in front of the Career Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Vendors from various transportation agencies will be on hand to answer questions from students regarding transportation options to the campus.
