Parents and students can learn about higher education opportunities at a free Educational Symposium, Sunday, Sept. 9, from noon to 7 p.m., at the Cal Poly Pomona Bronco Student Center. More than 1,000 people are expected at the 11th annual event, which is co-hosted by Cal Poly Pomona and the Council of African-American Parents (CAAP).
