A leading nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting outstanding Hispanic American professionals in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, will honor President Michael Ortiz with its first ever Vanguard Award. Ortiz will be honored at the 19th annual Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference on Oct. 11 in San Diego.
