Donald S. Castro, who is a former dean of undergraduate studies and chair/professor of history at Cal Poly Pomona, died Monday while in Mexico. He was 66. Castro, who is special assistant to Cal State Fullerton President Milton A. Gordon, was at Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport in the customs line when he suffered an apparent heart attack.
