University police officers and several local firefighters responded to a call this morning, Wednesday, April 4, when the fire alarm sounded in the breezeway between buildings 3 and 8. The building marshal evacuated occupants of Building 8 at 10:49 a.m. Los Angeles County Fire Department investigated the scene and confirmed there was no sign of fire.
