University police officers and local firefighters quickly responded to a small fire in building B of CTTI before dawn Monday, Dec. 4.

The building's general alarm sounded at 12:30 a.m. when the fire started in the boiler on the roof.

The blaze caused damage to the roof and the men's restroom on the top floor. The fire also caused some minor water damage to two CeeMAST offices, and they are currently closed.  

All offices and business operations should be on a normal schedule by Wednesday, Dec. 6.

CTTI (Center for Training, Technology & Incubation) is part of the Cal Poly Pomona College of the Extended University complex located near the corner of South Campus Drive and Temple Avenue.
