Kevin Kiernan has been named the new women's basketball coach at Cal Poly Pomona, Director of Athletics Brian Swanson announced Monday. Kiernan, the 2006 WBCA Russell Athletic National High School Coach of the Year, is currently the head coach for both the girls' and boys' teams at Troy High School in Fullerton.
