After the retirement of Cal Poly Pomona?s chief financial officer on Sept. 1, associate vice president for executive affairs Dr. Edwin A. Barnes will assume the responsibilities of interim vice president for administrative affairs until a nation-wide search for the permanent position is complete.
The appointment, which begins Sept. 2, was announced by university president Dr. Michael Ortiz.
