Discount tickets for students, faculty and staff to The Bamboozle Left, a two-day music festival Oct. 14 and 15, go on sale at the Bronce Student Center's Games Room Etc. on Aug. 9 at noon.
One-day tickets will be available for $30.
The Bamboozle Left, which is expected to draw thousands of music fans to Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 14-15.
ASI and Goldenvoice Concerts have teamed up to host the two-day music festival, which will be the largest music event ever hosted by the campus.
The athletic field will be home to the festival where more than 40 bands including Dashboard Confessional and Brand New will perform for thousands of fans on three stages.
To accompany the bands in the festival's Hollywood-esque theme will be a vendor village packed with band merchandise, acoustic performances and clothing companies.
After finding success in New Jersey with The Bamboozle, John DEsposito, president of MAX Cruise Entertainment, decided to take his musical creation out west, which he refers to as the “Left Coast” of the United States, and changed the name to The Bamboozle Left.
On Saturday, Oct. 14, fans will see such bands as Dashboard Confessional, Jacks Mannequin, Plus-44, Sugarcult, Hellogoodbye, and Cute Is What We Aim For.
On Sunday, Oct. 15, set to play are Brand New, Thrice, 30 Seconds to Mars, MURS, The Bled, and The Pink Spyders and other bands.

Tickets for $33.33 per day or $60 for a two-day pass went on sale July 22 through Ducat King, www.ducatking.com. There is a four-ticket limit for single day passes and a two-ticket limit for two-day passes. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the show begins at noon on both days. Parking is free for Cal Poly Pomona students who have a valid parking permit and $10 without a permit.
