Comcast Cable has created and aired two new video interviews for May featuring university experts.
Assistant professor and economist Greg Hunter discussed the future of the Inland Empire with emphasis on the labor market and the quality of life, based on a public opinion survey conducted in Spring 2005 in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties.
Computer Information Systems professor Dan Manson highlighted computer security issues and ways of safely surfing the Internet.
The five-minute interview is shown in conjunction with the local edition of the Comcast broadcast of CNN Headline News. The interviews are recorded each month in Claremont's Comcast studios and are featured throughout Southern California. Founded in 1963, Comcast Cable is the country's largest provider of cable services.
Instructional & Information Technology has made the video interviews available to the entire campus community.
