Frederick Gallegos, adjunct professor, Computer Information Systems, and Matthew L. Smith, MSBA-IS Audit graduate candidate and IT Security Analyst for Foundstone, co-authored an article, “Red Teams: An Audit Tool, Techniques and Methodology for Information Assurance,” which appears on pages 51-56 in the Information Systems Control Journal, Volume 2, 2006. The journal is a peer reviewed publication. Gallegos gave a presentation on “Information Assurance and Compliance Issues and Concerns for Government Auditors and Managers” at the Association of Government Accountants Annual Education Conference on Feb. 14 at the Hacienda Hotel in El Segundo.
