The Colleges of Science and Engineering will co-host the L.A. County Science Olympiad competition on Saturday, March 4, at Cal Poly Pomona. The colleges invite staff and faculty to serve as event captains. Event captains plan the event following guidelines from the national Science Olympiad organizers, supervise the event, and then score the results immediately following the event. This will be the third year the university hosts this event, which brings to campus 1,500 elementary, middle school and high school students interested in science, math and technology.
