The California State University's Board of Trustees has approved a 2006-07 budget plan that will include an increase in state university fees. In other news, as part of an ongoing series of events designed to highlight the CSU?s impact in the state?s industries and communities, CSU leaders will host a meeting with officials from the engineering industry at San Jose State on Oct. 28 and a town hall discussion with African-American community members in Oakland on Nov. 1.
