University Programs Profiled on Comcast Cable
Jonnie Owens, community outreach coordinator of the Downtown Center is one of Cal Poly Pomona?s first featured guests on Comcast cable.
David Klock, dean of the College of Business Administration, is also being featured on Comcast cable.

A new relationship with Comcast has enabled members of the university community to promote and profile their programs on select cable television markets. David Klock, dean of the College of Business Administration, and Jonnie Owens, community outreach coordinator of the Downtown Center, have been Cal Poly Pomona's first two featured guests.

“We have a very big sense of giving back to the communities that we serve,” says Patti Rockenwagner, Comcast vice president of Communications. “It's one way to make ourselves differentiated from our competition.”

The five-minute interviews are shown in conjunction with the local edition of the Comcast broadcast of CNN Headline News. The interview is recorded once a month in Claremonts Comcast studios and is featured throughout Southern California.

Instructional & Information Technology has joined in this effort to make the video interviews available to the entire campus community.
