A 19-year-old Cal Poly Pomona student died after he was critically injured at an off-campus, non-university event on Sunday, Aug. 28. Civil Engineering student Kenny Luong was taking part in a football game at San Marcos Park in Irvine along with other Cal Poly Pomona and UC Irvine students.
