Dr. Joseph You-Tsai Hung, a professor emeritus of Agricultural Engineering and Irrigation Science, died on Aug. 7. He was 72 years old. Hung taught at Cal Poly Pomona from 1969 until retiring in 1997, garnering the Outstanding Professor Award in 1991. During his tenure at the university, he helped to establish two degree programs: Agricultural Engineering in 1971 and Landscape Irrigation Science in 1984.
