A. Michael Berman, who has served as the vice president for Instructional & Information Technology (I&IT) for nearly five years, has announced that he will leave Cal Poly Pomona to serve as the senior vice president and chief technology officer for the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His final day at the university will be March 18.
“Dr. Berman has been a terrific colleague during our joint tenure,” says President Michael Ortiz. “He was I&IT's first vice president and led an effort that transformed the operation into a key resource for the university community. His leadership was vital in providing any number of technological services for our faculty, staff and students.”
A special reception is scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2-4 p.m. in the CLA Building 98 Heritage Conference Center (eighth floor).
